I’ve been colouring my hair for 18 years now and have trialed and test quite a few toner shampoos with many not performing as promised. Some strip the oils from my hair making it dry and brittle whilst other do absolutely nothing to remove the brassiness. I have a lot of warmth in my hair and to keep my blonde balayage in check at home can be a challenge.

I came across the brand Infuse My. Colour through TVSN and was really intrigued by the brand and it's products so I did some research on it. Infuse My. Colour consists of toner shampoos that give you fresh looking hair in a sustainable way. They are 100% vegan, contain no sulphates, parabens or silicone.

There are 5 coloured shampoos to choose from depending what colour tone your hair is: Ruby, Gold, Copper, Platinum and Cobalt.  Upon request, I was kindly sent two shampoo options - Cobalt Wash and Platinum Wash. There is also a treatment conditioner available to use after the shampoo.

Platinum Wash
Purple toner shampoos are designed to tone down brassy or orangey tones that tend to appear in blonde hair by adding some ash tones. Platinum neutralises yellow, maintains the radiance of grey, white, pale blonde and highlighted hair. The Infuse My. Colour Wash Platinum Wash is an intense shimmery shampoo that is packed with bright violet pigment. It has a delicious fruity scent and has a thick consistency which I love making it easy to apply to hair. It has a lovely lather allowing me to cover my entire hair without dripping all over the place. I found using the Platinum wash has toned down the bassiness in my bleached hair which is great and did so without making my hair feeling dry.  Hair is soft even before applying conditioner.

Cobalt Wash
A pure ash shampoo that takes away warmth and maintains the depth of dark blonds, light, medium and dark brown hair. It is great if you like to keep your colour on the cool side. It can also be used on bleached blonds to create mint green tones. Our of the two I prefer the Platinum wash as I think it is more suited to my hair colour at the moment. I did find that this was effective in cooling my darker hair on the roots and removed the warmth from it which the Platinum didn't.  But overall, I liked using these both an will continue to do so.

Infuse My. Colour retails for $29.95 each and is exclusive to TVSN.  For more information visit their website here.
