Olay Magnemasks Infusion were released late last year and I haven't had the chance to give them a go till now. There are two varieties - Rejuvenating Sheet Mask for Fine Lines and Lack of Firmness & Hydrating Sheet Mask for Dryness & Roughness. Both are exactly what my skin needs so I was excited to give these a go. A premium mask collection that infuses ingredients deep within skin's surface for youthful skin with a spa-like feel. This range offers jar masks, sheet masks and a magnetic infuser that has been specially designed to work only with active ingredients in Olay Magnemasks' formula. It is uniquely assembled with 1000+ micro magnets that interact with the ingredients' magnetic field to achieve 3X more infusion 10 layers deep into skin.
In each box you get 5 individually wrapped sheet masks. They contain a high concentration of active ingredients to boost results overnight. 1 sheet contains 1/3 of actives in an Olay Regenerist jar. It is recommended after removing the sheet mask, to use Magnetic Infuser to massage in remaining essence to achieve 3X more infusion 10 layers deep into skin But as I didn't receive the Magnetic Infuser I will only base my experience with the sheet masks alone.
The Olay Magnemask Rejuvenating Sheet Mask is an anti-ageing sheet mask to treat fine lines & lack of firmness in the skin by improving skin's texture and elasticity. It contains an intense concentration of Pentapeptide and Niacinamide to nourish and tighten as well as reducing fine lines and wrinkles by plumping the skin, giving it a smooth radiant glow.
The sheet mask is quite stretchy and easy to adjust to fit the contours of the face. I did have to customise it a little, I usually have to with sheet masks but this does fit much better than the majority of masks I have tried in the past. Also be careful how to take the mask out as there is quite of bit of serum left in the sachet. I made a bit of a mess with the first one! The mask is comfortable to wear and doesn't slip off like sheet masks usually do.
I can feel my face start to tighten as the serum is absorbed into the skin. Skin is soft, supple and appears to be plump after I remove the sheets. I like how my skin felt after using these sheet masks. I am curious to see whether there is a difference in results if I used the Magnetic Infuser so I will purchase it to try it with the remaining masks I have.
The Olay Magnemask Hydrating Sheet Mask is packaged slightly different. They are individually wrapped small than the other one. Not sure if it's a newer batch and designed differently or purposely designed to be different. The hydrating mask is to suitable for dry skin to treat dryness and roughness. It provides intense hydration and smooths out any inconsistencies in the skin.
The sheet mask fits and feels similar to the Rejuvenating sheet mask. but I didn't feel the same tightness. Skin felt soft and supple but prefer the Rejuvenating formula for my skin type. The Hydrating Sheet masks I would keep for when we come into Winter as my skin tends to be more dehydrated and drier in some areas.
Overall, I really liked using Infusion Sheet Masks. I found that these are more suited to my skin that other brands only because of my age as they treated my skin concerns that I have.
The Olay Magnemasks Infusion masks retail for $28.99 each pack and are available through Priceline and other retailers Australia wide. For more information click here.
