As irresistible it may be to drink these delicious looking hair smoothies, it is not for consumption! The brightly coloured packaging stands on it's own and the exotic scent transports your senses to a warm dreamy location and sipping PiƱa Colada's .

The Maui Moisture Range is made with 100% Aloe juice, a rarity in haircare for a natural ingredient to be listed right on top of the ingredients list.  The range of shampoo and conditioners are also infused with pure coconut water and contain exotic ingredients that are handpicked and handcrafted from tropical islands like Maui.  There are 6 ranges that cater to different hair types and textures and to help get hair looking healthy.

The Moisture Strength & Anti-Breakage duos offer to heal, strengthen and repair chemically damaged hair by helping to increase elasticity and strands resist breakage. Infused with rich agave nectar, hibiscus seed oil, and pineapple extract, it leave hair tangle free with a healthy shine. It is also safe to use on colour treated hair.

The shampoo has a velvety texture that lathers beautifully. After rinsing, my hair is soft even before using the conditioner.  The only thing missing was someone doing the actual washing whilst I stood there enjoying the scent!

The conditioner has a creamy texture. Not much is needed to instantly feel hair detangle whilst running my fingers through my hair. I must say I was extremely surprised how soft and silky my hair felt afterwards without the weigh-down of a heavy conditioner is amazing. My hair stayed soft and almost frizz-free for several days before roots started to show signs of oiliness. There was only one disappointment with this product and it's not the performance. I did struggle getting the conditioner out of the bottle. I felt like I needed three hands, two to shake the product out and one to catch it!

The Maui Moisture retails for $19.99 each and are available at Priceline. For more info on the brand click here.

  1. These actually looks delicious! Probably the 100% aloe juice is really concentrated and thick, hence the struggle.
