Last month SheaMoisture held an exclusive breakfast event at Chiswick at the Art Gallery of NSW. They showcased their entire range of cruelty free, organic and natural haircare, skincare and body range.   A family-run brand since 1912 with recipes being handed down, tested and proven for over four generations.  They support fair trade and work with the Community Commerce in Africa.

During the event I wandered around to check out the beautiful array of products displayed. Each range featured exotic ingredients as well as tailoring to different hair, skin and body needs.

Starting with the haircare, there are four ranges to choose from.

Jamaican Black Castor Oil collection is ideal for damaged, chemically processed, colour or heat treated hair.  It's key ingredients are Certified Organic Shea butter, Jamaican Black Castor Oil, Apple Cider Vinegar and Peppermint.

Strengthen & Restore rage

Manuka Honey & Mafura Oil collection provides intensive hydration for naturally dry hair.  Key ingredients are Organic Shea Butter, Manuka Honey, Mafura and Baobab Oils and African Rock Fig.

Intensive Hydration range

Coconut & Hibiscus collection is perfect for thick, curly and texture hair.  It helps control frizz and flyaways.

Curl & Shine range

100% Virgin Coconut Oil collection is light and fresh and a perfect all-rounder for dry, normal/thin hair. Perfect for most hair types.

There are two collections for the bodycare range.

Raw Shea Butter is ideal for dry, ageing skin providing essential nutrients and vitamins to nourish the skin with intense hydration, rejuvenate and firm skin as well as prevent early signs of ageing. Key ingredients include Certified Organic Shea Butter, Frankincense and Myrrh Extracts.

Bodycare Hydrating and Soothing ranges

African Black Soap is ideal for blemished and troubled skin. It helps to absorb excess oil and balance skin, leaving it fresher, clearer and smoother.
African Black Soap range

SheaMoisture also has an African Black Soap facial skincare range.  African Black Soap is know for it's benefits for treating eczema, oily skin, psoriasis and other skin conditions.  This is the range I am most excited about as my son and I both suffer from mild eczema and psoriasis.

Guests were then seated to enjoy a lovely breakfast whilst listening to MC Erika Heynatz alongside International SheaMoisture product expert Melissa Miller who flew over from the US for the exclusive launch.  Melissa shared her story about the brand which was inspiring.

After breakfasts guests had the opportunity to experience the products first-hand with a complimentary hand massage and/or a SheaMoisture hair braid.

At the end of the event we were all gifted a lovely sample box of products to try.

SheaMoisture collections are reasonably priced with prices starting from $9.95 and the entire range  available exclusively at Priceline.  You can check out the range online here
