I love cleansers, I love clean skin and I love cleansers that do more than just cleanse. DermaEnergy cleansers clean and invigorate your skin, instantly lifts dirt, grime and oil from the skin for an enviable complexion. It is suitable for all skin types and ages.

Dermaenergy is a new Australian medical skincare brand created for the selfie generation (20 to 35-year-olds).  That not to say that if your above 35 you cannot use it.  It's all about preference and what you like to use.

Their products combine proven active ingredients with ATP for prolonged stimulation. Results are not only fast, they’re enduring. DermaEnergy products address and correct acne, ageing, first signs of ageing, congestion, and various forms of pigmentation. All serums are lightweight, free of congesting ingredients, and never over-nourishing for youthful skins.

What is ATP?
ATP also know as Adenosine Triphosphate and is like an energy bank for the skin. It is the form of energy that your body uses to do work.  It is a high-energy molecule found in every cell in the body. It's job is to store and supply the cell with needed energy. ATP is required for the biochemical reactions involved in any muscle contraction. As the work of the muscle increases, more and more ATP gets consumed and must be replaced in order for the muscle to keep moving.  Having ATP as an active ingredient in skincare helps to address skin issues from the outside.

I was kindly sent two cleansers to try and if I like them I review them.  They are Clean with Envy and A Mean Clean.

Both cleansers can be used day and night.  Infused with Tangerine essential oils, it's citrus scent is so refreshing and pleasant.

Clean with Envy is an energy enhancing cleanser that will clean and invigorate your skin. It has a clear colourless thin to medium consistency.  It lightly lathers to a foam gently cleansing the skin.  It's refreshing to use and skin is left feeling cool and clean.  It's active ingredients are ATP and Saponaria.

A Mean Clean is a tough foaming cleanser that instantly lifts dirt, grime and oil from the skin.  More suited to Acneic and problematic skin, this cleanser works a little harder to help skin achieve it's potential.  This cleanser has a more of a cloudy colourless formula with a thicker consistency.  It  lathers more than the Clean with Envy.

It's active ingredients are slightly different with ATP, Glycolic Acid and Lactic Acid to help problematic skin.  This cleanser did feel a little drier on the skin after cleansed but it effectively removed all my make-up, dirt and debris build-up from the skin. It gave my skin a deeper clean.  I used this cleanser at night.

Overall I liked these cleansers, I like the way my skin feels after use and like how my skin looks.  I did find my skin appear clearer after using it for over a week.

It is recommended to use the cleansers with the Dermaenergy DermaBrush.  The brush features fine silicone rubber teeth that creates space between the cleanser and skin, promoting a more intense foaming for a superior clean. I haven't used one so I cannot say whether it works or feels better with the brush or not.
