This year Covergirl released a rather impressive mascara - The Peacock Flare Mascara. Achieving sexy, thick and luscious lashes is easy AF.  Their unique bristles features alternating layers to guarantee the formula is dispersed evenly across your lashes, separating them without the clumping.

I haven't used Covergirl mascaras for a long time as I haven't been overly impressed by them, plus there are heaps better drug-store mascaras that perform better, until now.

The bulky packaging reminds me of Rimmel and Maybelline mascaras at first glance but is quite different when you handle it and look at it properly. I'm loving the foil teal colour, definitely eye catching.

The mascara wand has a silicone control-grip handle which allows for greater comfort in hand for precise application. It's texture is rich and creamy, budge proof and is easily removed with soap and water!

Two coats was enough to see a huge difference. I really like the bristles, it made applying really easy. My lashes appeared thicker with some length, which is great as I am more about thickness and less about the length. Separation was obvious, there was no clumping. I found that my lashes did have a slight flare not a lot. It is exactly how I would like it.

Overall, its a pretty good mascara but price wise, I think it's a little steep.  Even though I was pleased in it's performance I do not this it is worth the $21.95. It is a supermarket/drugstore brand and I think the price point should be between $12.95 - $15.95.

Covergirl Peacock Flare Mascara is available at most supermarkets, Pharmacies and Priceline stores. For more info on Covergirl visit their website here.

Have you tried it?  I would love to know what your thoughts are.
