Ultraceuticals is the longest brand of skincare I have used consistently since my teens. A year ago I was invited to an Ultraceuticals event where my skin was analysed and a skincare regime was customised for me. At the time, my skin was a mess.

You may have read my progress post here which showed before and after photos. After three months results were visibly seen even though I have an underlying skin condition called Roscea. Fast forward today, my skin is better now than it was 5 years ago and receiving compliments is a true testament. If you saw my morning process to prep my skin including makeup to cover my skin issues you would be astounded how involved it was but no one ever knew.

Ultraceuticals not only regulated my oil production on my skin, it cleared up my chronic congestion on my forehead, reduced the redness and evened out my skin-tone as well as brightened up my complexion.

Part of my skincare routine is the Ultraceuticals Ultra A Skin Perfecting Serum which I use every night. The Ultra A range has been reformulated to penetrate faster and deeper with it's Retinol delivery technology "Ultra-Reti". The Ultra-Reti Microparticles are one-millionth of the size, which means they penetrate the skin faster and more effectively with a a higher loading capacity. Ultra A is a pure form of Retinol. It's been around for a long time and is proven to rejuvenate the skin, regulate sebum product, as well as reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

There are three strength levels in the Ultra A Skin Perfecting Serum range - Mild, Serum and Concentrate. I started off with the Mild for the first 7 months and now use the Serum.

My daily skin routine is so simple that it literally takes me 5 minutes. I no longer use medicated creams, concealer or cream foundation to cover up my blemishes. I go to work everyday with mascara, lipstick and eye concealer and that's it. Occasionally when I feel like wearing makeup I do so only because I want to not because I have to.

Ultraceuticals is available through selected David Jones and beauty salons. For more information visit their website for more information
