Primers are not all created equal. I've tried quite a few primers and haven't been a fan of them, making my skin feel layered and pores blocked.  Are primers all the same?  I recently found out 'no' they are not.

I decided to give Cover FX a go as I've loved all their products I've road-tested to date.  Here are two different primers I've tried and loved - Blurring Primer and Calming Primer.

Each of the Cover FX Primers are formulated using the highest quality ingredients and leave out the main culprits of skin irritation including parabens, sulfates, phthalates, fragrance, gluten, mineral oil, and talc.

Blurring Primer is a lightweight, soft focus primer that blurs the appearance of pores, fine lines, and other imperfections for ultra-smooth airbrushed skin. It does this with it's Light Diffusing Technology to help reduce the appearance of pores and fine lines, while Vitamin E promotes antioxidant protection against free radicals.

You can use it underneath your makeup to achieve a smooth canvas for a seamless foundation application, over makeup as an instant retouching balm, or wear it alone for a soft-focus, airbrushed effect.

You only need a pea-sized amount on your fingertips and apply it. It texture is lightweight soft silky on application and instantly disappears when applied on the skin.

Calming Primer is the one I use the most. As many of you may already know as I have mentioned it in previous posts, I have rosacea and sometimes certain products do make my skin redder than it should be. The Calming Primer is specifically formulated for sensitive skin, containing a blend of unique ingredients to calm redness prone skin while also prepping skin for foundation.

It's texture resembles a lightweight lotion. It is slightly creamer than the blurring primer but when applied on the skin it absorbs just as quick and skin is felt moisturised as well.

I find that using this primer my skin stays calm throughout the day without any redness peaking through the makeup.  This is perfect for the warmer weather coming up as it will help control any irritation my skin may encounter.

Cover FX Primer line consists of five primers all working to provide you with smooth, even-toned skin for the most flawless makeup application. To find out more about these visit their website here.

Cover FX Primers retails for $60.00 and are available at Sephora stores Australia wide.
