L'Occitane recently hosted an intimate event at the Hacienda Bar, Pullman Hotel down at Circular Quay.
Overlooking our gorgeous harbour, Hacienda Bar was decked out with amazing floral arrangements and pretty Terre de Lumière displays scattered throughout.
Canapes and drinks constantly flowed through the mingling crowd.
Unveiling their latest fragrance Terre de Lumière, a new fragrance for women 'inspired by the Provincial light, in particular at the ‘Golden Hour’ – the last hour before the sun sets and the first hour of light in the morning.
Created by three perfumers - Calice Beck, Shyamala Maisondieu and Nadege Le Garlantezec. The fragrance brings together, in perfect harmony, so many sensations that come from their experiences, their vision and emotions.
A shape that is luxurious and elegant, and embodies Provence. Designed in an organic pebble shape with a golden tint. The cap represents a pebble picked up in a lavender field as the sun sets, beautiful soft red, resembling the golden hour skies.
Terre de Lumière Eau de Parfum is both fresh and warm. Zesty and aromatic at first, the fragrance melts into an unexpectedly sweet heart of lavender honey, before settling into sensual balsamic and musky base notes.
Bergamot, Ambrette Seed, Pink Pepper
Acacia Flower, Bitter Almond Essence, Tonka Bean, White Musk
Freshly sprayed on my skin, I instantly smell the nuttiness with some faint hints of coffee, eventually calming down to an elegant natural sweetness.
The NameTerre de Lumière means "land of light". A name that is simple yet meaningful.
Towards the end of the evening we were all treated to a personalised engraving on our gifted fragrance. This was the perfect touch to a wonderful evening.
L'occitane Terre de Lumiere will be available in stores from 26th April. Retails price is $110 for 50ml and $150 for 90ml.
