MY SKINCARE PICKS FEATURING CLINIQUE MOISTURE SURGE, TAKE THE DAY OFF + CLEANSING MICELLAR GEL

Clinique has been part of my beauty or skincare regime since my teens one way or another.  Whether it be one product or a few.  With all Clinique products being kind to skin, allergy tested and 100% fragrance free, I never hesitate putting Clinique products on my skin.  Here are my thoughts on several products that are not necessarily new to the market but new to me.

2-in-1 Cleansing Micellar Gel + Light Makeup Remover - RRP $38
This multi-tasking formula with natural micellar technology cleanses, moisturises and removes light makeup on the skin without the use of water.

I first thought it was a cleanser that you have to use in combination with water, but that is not the case. I was a little confused but trusted that Clinique's formula to work well. I applied the cleanser on a cotton pad and went over my entire face.  A cooling and calming sensation is felt on the skin with skin feeling soft, cleansed and refreshed. There is no stickiness or no residue left behind.  My skin literally feels as it has been cleansed with water.

Perfect for all skin types and perfect for travelling too. The only thing it was not able to remove was mascara, which brings me to the next product I love using.

Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm - $55
This is a lightweight cleansing balm that quickly dissolves stubborn eye and face make-up and sunscreen.  It contains emollients and plant oil to dissolve makeup, including waterproof mascara. It starts from a solid balm and transforms to a silky, fluid oil application.

Use fingertips to scoop the cleansing balm and then massage it over dry skin. Massage well and ensure you have covered all on your face.  Rinse well with warm water and pat dry.  It cleans thoroughly and no greasy residue is left on the skin.  This is one of the best products that I like to use for removing make-up especially mascara.  My eyes aren't irritate or red from the constant rubbing  and skin feels amazing.

Moisture Surge Overnight Mask - $55
This luxe creamy texture penetrating night mask helps skin drink deep to replenish lost moisture and wake up with soft, dewy, glowing skin.  After cleansing skin, you only need to apply a thin layer all over and that's it.

Containing Aloe, which is good for bringing moisture back into the skin as well as plant extracts that help calm and de-stress skin. It is Oil-free so perfect for all skin types.  This mask is especially beneficial if skin tends to play up during weather change. I use this when I feel my skin needs that extra boost.

Moisture Surge Face Spray - $45
Don't confuse dry skin with dehydrated skin. Even though many of us are combination/oily doesn't mean we aren't prone to skin dehydration.  The Moisture Surge Face Spray refreshes thirsty skin. Bursting with moisture and active aloe which rapidly replenishes skin’s moisture level and restores balance that skin has lost throughout the day.

To apply you close eyes and spray a light mist.  Perfect for the office or in your handbag for when you are on-the-go.  This face spray is oil-free and suitable for all skin types.

All Clinique products are available at selected pharmacies, Myer, David Jones and online here.  If you have any skin concerns it is always recommended to get a skin consultation before purchasing any products.

Samples were part of a goodie bag from a previous event. My thoughts are based on my experience

    1. Me too and I'm glad that I did. They also have a small lipstick style for the eyes. You should have a look at that as well.
