Whether you are a pro or not at applying eyeliner, starting with quality products makes a huge difference in the outcome of your eye makeup. An eyeliner needs to be soft and creamy but firm, glide on smoothly, is buildable and blendable.
Mirenesse have a range of eyeliners that have caught my attention called Forbidden Ink. I love eyeliners, I like using them as eyeshadow as well an eyeliner. The Forbidden Ink Liners are twist-up liners, with an inbuilt sharpener in the cap, which means you won’t have to ever worry about blunt lines or carrying a sharpener around.
These eyeliners are smooth and pigmented and extremely easy to blend. Mirenesse's eyeliners are also 100% waterproof, humidity & oil proof, making them perfect for the upcoming warmer months as they hold up remarkably well against the heat and humidity. They even stay put if you go for a swim! Formulated with Shea fruit and Cocoa butter for moisture benefits and Raspberry Oil for anti-ageing benefits, these eyeliners will condition the skin whilst on and will irritate the skin.
Mirenesse have given these eyeliners some cool names. Swatched shades are from left to right - Surrender, Crush, Orgasm, Addiction, Envy, Obsession, Voyeur, Pleasure, Passion and Taboo. Available in 10 beautiful shades.
In the above image, the colour I used is Voyeur. It is a beautiful french blue. I have applied it on the lids and blended it with Orgasm as well as applied it under the lash to intensify my lashes. I applied Orgasm on the waterline to give my eyes a fresh pinky appearance. As it is waterproof you will need use an oil based remover to get eyeliner off. Micellar water will remove most of it but for a thorough cleanse it is best to use an oil makeup remover.
Mirenesse Forbidden Ink Eye Liner retail for $39.95 each. They are available for purchase online on their website here.
