I recently attended an intimate breakfast for the Dr Hauschka's launch which was held at The Grounds of Alexandria featuring International Makeup Artist and Global Ambassador Karim Sattar.

To coincide and to celebrate their 50th Anniversary, the launch previewed pieces from their new make-up range and looks for Spring Summer 2018.  To read more about the products read my post here.

We were treated to some yummy breakfast and mingled with fellow influencers and Dr Hauschka staff, who were so warm and welcoming.

Karim showcased some of the brand's face and eye palettes, mascaras, a light reflecting concealer (wow) and many other products. He created a Spring/Summer look on a model using two new feature palettes.  The eyeshadow trio and blush duo.

Here he is showing us that eyebrow gel can also double as an eye primer, by mixing in eye shadow on the back of the hand.  It is like a wet look which intensifies the colour.

An upcoming trend is 3D eye lining.  By applying brown liner as a base, then add the black over it with a little bit of brown showing underneath, gives a three dimensional look making eyes pop. Karim also mentioned that grey black or brown are the flattering on most eye shape and age.

Add some soft pink under the brow to make eyes pop and give the appearance of a younger look.

And for a look for this season, it's all about shimmer on lips as glossy is out.  Karim added some eyeshadow to the centre of the lips and Cupid's bow with his finger and then patted a sheer lipstick over it which gives the lips a soft pink healthy natural glow.

As Karim puts it "lips need to look as if your boyfriend kissed you".

Another trend that is up coming is Notouring, the new contouring.  It's highlighting to one side of the forehead, chin on the opposite side and on one cheek.

The finished look on this gorgeous model who was also the loveliest person.

I can’t believe how fast time flies, Father’s Day is already here and if your still clueless as to what to get dad, husband or boyfriend, I can guarantee that they will love the things I have included in my list.

Steering away from gift cards this year can't be easy but let's face it, we want them to look good or use that money for something worthwhile!  Last year hubby got a gift voucher and it went to stuff that sat in the garage the entire year, and I know if I cleared out the garage he won't even notice it's gone!

So here is my list of Father's Day gift ideas.

David Beckham Respect - $49.00 (90ml)
David's latest scent has launched just in time for Father's Day.  Featuring top notes of grapefruit, watermelon and pink pepper; heart notes of cardamom, lavender and basil; and a dry down of moss, vetiver and patchouli.  It will definitely get your heart racing when he wears this.

Shown 90ml bottle

Along with the fragrance, a subscription to his favourite magazine.  There are dozens of options to choose from.  In this case Evo is hubby's favourite mag so I got a 12 month subscription via isubscribe.

A Seiko watch added to the pack with make this a luxury gift that any dad, husband or boyfriend will love you long time!

Coffee Scrub Bars - RRP $4.99
What can be better than an exfoliating bar of coffee to help slough away dry, dead skin, by eliminating impurities, increase blood circulation and promote growth of new skin cells, leaving skin feeling soft to touch.

Grooming Products
Skincare can be quite personal but father's love it when you gift them everyday essentials because realistically, how many of you know of your partner who goes out and buys his own skin or body products?  I know my hubby uses my stuff unless I buy his own range.  So here's a few selections that are in his gift bag of goodies this Father's Day.

Ella Baché Creme Intex No. 2 - RRP $51.00
A multi-purpose, antibacterial spot treatment cream that draws out impurities and heals the skin. Can be used on pimples, blackheads and used to prevent ingrown hairs after waxing or shaving.

Grant's Of Australia Aloe Vera Crystal Deodorant - RRP $9.50
Perfect for sensitive skin, this deodorant is unscented and hypoallergenic. Contains no aluminium chloro-hydrate or genetically modified ingredients.  Composed of natural minerals, which helps control body odour in a simple and natural way by stopping growth of odour causing bacteria on the skin.

Dr Bronner's Organic Shaving Soap - RRP $17.95
Provides a smooth glide and effective hair shaving experience as well as provide a good, clean shave, without the toxins that are usually found in conventional shave soaps. Skin is left skin soft and moisturised.

Ella Baché Espresso Intensive Detox Scrub - RRP $39.00
This finely textured deep cleansing exfoliant gently unclogs pores leaving skin feeling fresh and clean a well as detoxifies and smoothes away rough dry skin. Skin is left invigorated and radiant and blemish free.

Dr Bonner's Pure Castille Soap - RRP $7.95
If the man in your life is like mine and prefers a bar of soap over a liquid cleanser then this is perfect. Made with organic hemp oil for a soft, smooth lather that won’t dry your skin.

I hope I have helped make it a little easier this Father's Day. So what's are your gift ideas for Father's Day?

Subscription box trends has been growing popular over the last couple of years so having a service that provides personal hygiene essentials was a natural progression. This is ideal for time-poor women as our lives have become busier than ever before and with time flying past and before you know it you forget to stock up on supplies. Subscription service Liverpool St was established to eliminate this risk altogether by delivering tampons to women around Australia every month.

Siobhan Komander, founder and business owner offers only organic natural cotton tampons. Thinking about and supporting women, Siobhan has realised that a lot of Australian women are increasingly conscious of what they eat and what they put on their skin, but don't think about what they are putting in their ‘cha-cha’ when their period arrives.

I am a lover of a bargain, but who isn't! Especially when it comes to makeup there are some things that are OK to buy budget and with the way the current colour trends are going and how often they change, I simply cannot afford to spend loads each month on makeup. Also with quality of budget makeup improving they are giving some high-end brands a run for their money.

The brand W7 was created in 2002 and is one of the fastest growing budget makeup brands in the UK & Ireland. Most of the products retail for under $20 and are all Made in England. What's even better is that W7 Cosmetics are a fully Cruelty Free company which also have many Vegan products.
