I recently attended the grand opening of Australia's first Shu Uemura Tokyo Atelier Boutique in Sydney.  Located on the lower ground level in the QVB it is hard not to miss the colourful neon lights and display.

As well as celebrating the opening of the boutique, Shu Uemura has also created the ultimate Tokyo brow atelier dedicated to the fine Japanese art of brows. The brow bar utilises the brand’s traditional “Naginata” technique.

Doughnut time donuts was the perfect accompaniment to a glass of champagne whilst browsing through the boutique.

With Shu Uemura's bear mascot standing pretty with rainbow lashes at the front of the boutique, I just couldn't go past without feeling those lashes.

Here is just a sneak peek of what to expect when you enter this amazing store.

Finally the cutting of the ribbon was taking place with blogger & vlogger Wengie Huang. An exciting moment to officially declare the boutique opened for business!

The crowd was growing as Wengie was cutting the ribbon.  It was such a lovely evening and I can't wait to go back and explore the makeup range as well as visit the brow bar.
