It can be a challenge to keep your skin hydrated during Winter.  Sometimes your skincare regime just doesn't cut it. You try to exfoliate so your skin absorbs your moisturiser better but you skin is still dehydrated.

Dryness and dehydration are prime reasons for premature wrinkles so it’s imperative we protect our skin from these conditions, and during winter we need to be particularly vigilant, as outdoor weather is drying and indoor heating is dehydrating.

Using a Hydrating Mask is a sure way to help fix winter skin by deeply moisturising and nourishing your skin.

Dr Hauschka's Hydrating Mask offers your skin a sense of safety and security, imparting moisture retaining qualities to dry, dehydrated, sensitive or mature skin.

The blend of botanicals soothes, protects and revitalises while sealing in moisture, leaving skin feeling smooth and supple.

With specific ingredients like Quince seed extract it replenishes and helps dry skin to retain moisture. Nourishing almond, avocado and jojoba oils nourish while precious rose wax and organic shea butter soothe and protect.

There are two key benefits that it looks to do and that is to moisturise and replenish dry and dehydrated looking skin. The hydrating mask is most suited to dry, sensitive and even mature type of skin. I have combination skin and I found this mask quite effective during the winter as I do suffer from dry patches on the cheeks and temple area.

The hydrating mask is simple to apply. Once you have cleansed and toned your skin, apply a generous amount of Hydrating Mask to the face including eye area, neck, and décolleté. Remove after 20 minutes with a warm, damp cloth.  It is recommended that the Hydrating Mask is used twice a week.

Effectively after using this Hydrating Mask, I could instantly tell that my skin felt smoother, softer and very supple.  Wrinkles on my forehead were noticeably softer as well.

If you suffer from really dry skin this mask can also be used as a day cream as well. After applying your skincare and allowing it to be absorbed by the skin, apply a thin layer of the Moisturising Mask on top.
