OPI Avojuice Hand & Body Creme Review

OPI Avojuice Hand & Body Creme contains shea butter, vitamin E and avocado oil enriched formula to deliver an ultra-hydrating crème that is ideal for the hands, nails, feet and body. The moisturising formula pampers and protects the skin while the aromas of tropical coconut melon and ripe mango leave behind an exotic scent.

OPI are know for their amazing and extensive collection of nail colours. I was curious about the hand and body creme and the scent sounded divine so I decided to purchase.  I do not normally buy hand and body creme combinations. I like my hand cream for hands and body cream for body.

The first squirt was for my hands and the smell was at first, over powering but so delish. I felt like I was on holiday on some island. The coconut melon scent reminds me of coconut oil. The smell did eventually soften but I did find it a little greasy on the palms.

That evening after a hot shower I smothered my body with it and it felt so good and the smell, well, my hubby said I was a walking coconut. I did not however, continue using it for my body as the size of the tube is not suitable for body use, after a week it would of been finished, instead I use this every night on my hands.

Will I buy it again?  Probably not.

Biotherm Aquasource Nuit Review

Info on product

Aquasource Nuit contains revolutionary skin care technology to specifically address the overnight hydration needs in any skin type. Concentrated in Mannose, Thermal Plankton Cellular Water and P. Antarctica, a micro-organism that has the unique ability to retain water, Aquasource Nuit helps replenish skin's water reserves.

I purchased this product after reading reviews from other users.  I had run out of my night cream so it worked out well.

My skin type is combination and can at times be sensitive. I have been using this product for the past 4 weeks, and am happy to say this product is amazing. Previously I would only apply night cream to areas of my face that felt dry, the rest of my face had no cream as I usually wake up with shiny and oily skin in the mornings especially in the warmer months.

Aquasource Nuit is a blue jelly like formulation. When applied to my skin it instantly feels cool and calming and absorbs almost immediately. My skin instantly feels supple and fresh. In the morning my skin is still soft and smooth with no oiliness or the feeling of yukkyness.

Over the 4 weeks my skin hydration levels have improved as well as the look and texture of my skin.

At $59.00 for a 50ml bottle, you can't get better than this for a night gel moisturiser. Effective and kind to the skin.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Sydney is a schedule of fashion events showcasing the contemporary Spring Summer Collections of Australia’s leading designer brands and retailers as these collections land in store.

The Festival hub is at the Sydney Town Hall and a satellite schedule of events takes place throughout the city. Be a part of live photo shoots, special bar and restaurant events, fashion film nights, beauty trend consultations and industry talks in this festival of fashion and culture.

So much excitement around as I was walking up the stairs of the Town Hall. I was the lucky winner of a VIP experience which I won through Facebook via Flowers For a VagobOnd's page. Part of the experience was to meet the designer himself, Toby Maclean.

Very excited to meet him and to see his beautiful designs showing at the show that evening.

Upon my arrival I was greeted by Ellissa by Oomph Media and then introduced to Toby Maclean.

It was such a pleasure to meet them both especially Toby Maclean. He was a very sweet person. I was treated really well and was made sure I was taken care of.

I was treated to some VIP treatment at the VIP bar before the show started and then made my way to the show with exceptionally great seats.

There were many fabulous pieces on show. I have taken snap shot of a few that I really loved.

Lots of pastels and fluoros were in almost all collections. I cannot wait till summer is here!

The whole show went for about an hour. The finale was amazing with Akira taking amaze to a whole new level.

Back down to the Fashion hub is where all the action was.  I headed straight to the Redken hub and received one on one hair consult, followed by a bundle of goodies for my hair.

HP had a fun set-up, table full of fancy dress to pick from and then have our photos taken. We were rewarded with a nifty laptop cover. Totally love mine.

Maybelline had a lip station where you were able to get touch ups and I was given this.

In the VIP lounge there were unlimited amounts of alcohol, Sanpellegrino sparkling fruit drinks and Aqua Panna. Every so often a tray of yummy canapes came out.

When I left I collected my goodie bag and went home for the evening.  Had such a great evening, slightly light headed but all good.

Till next time

x
