Cover FX have released three ranges of minis - correctors, enhancers and concealers, that fit inside a baton stick. It was designed to make the Cover FX customisable products even more accessible and portable. The concept allows you choose two of your fave corrector, concealer or enhancer at any one time. It's lightweight and compact making it easy and fuss free for on-the-go touch-ups.

Cream Correctors
These cream colour correctors have been designed to be easily blended with your fingertips! The range comes in six shades, catering for all skin imperfections by cancelling out any discolourations or pigment issues you have with your skin. These can be used all over the face including the eye area, especially if you have dark circles.

For under eyes - Peach for fair to medium complexion, Orange for medium to deep complexion and Brick for a deep complexion

For redness - Green for light & medium skintones (colour corrects intense redness) and Yellow for light & medium skintones (colour corrects mild redness).

For dullness - Lavender for light & medium skintones (colour corrects yellow and adds brightness).

The consistency of the cream concealer is soft and glides on skin easily.  Blending is a breeze whether you use your fingers or a brush.  I personally prefer my fingers.  I applied the concealer underneath my makeup and found that it blended well with my foundation.  The peach is more suited to my skin tone as the orange is a little too dark, but will try it again in summer when I'm a lot more tanned.

Enhance Highlighters
These cream highlighters are designed to illuminate your complexion to give a natural healthy glow. The range comes in nine different colour variations.

The formula is creamy and easy to use.  It comes in a convenient stick to brighten, strobe, and highlight your complexion.  For best results Cover FX recommends to apply product on fingertips to warm up then apply to your face.

The four shades shown are left to right:

Gilded is a warm dark bronze and a shimmery finish
Candlelight is a deeper golden bronze with a orange undertone and shimmery finish
Gold Dust is a light golden bronze with a peach undertone and a shimmery finish
Blossom is a light pink with a pearly finish

Surprisingly my favourite is Blossom but overall they are all gorgeous highlighters, all shades give my cheeks a beautiful glow. The finish is shimmery and a bit dewy, without any glitters.

My favourite part of the collection is the baton stick.  I am able to carry around in my handbag / makeup bag or when travelling.  It's lightweight and takes up minimal space.  The stick clicks in and out easily.

I love this collection.  It's cute and small and bloody good.  Definitely good value.  I will be adding a few extra colours to my collection as well as a couple of extra batons on my next trip to Sephora.

Cover FX Click Stick Collection is available at Sephora.  They retail for $29 each and the baton retails for $3.

I love my clay masks, I find it therapeutic doing facials. Especially after a long week at work. It's the time where we not only unwind and relax our mind body and soul over the weekend but also pamper and maintain the skin by purifying, rejuvenating and refresh it.

Nutrimetics Ultra Care+ Clarifying Clay Treatment is a clay mask that will draw out dirt and congestion to reveal a brighter, more clarified complexion. It gently buffs and exfoliates to remove dead skin cells, whilst working to tone the skin for a more youthful appearance.

Using powerful skin-clearing ingredients like Kaolin clay, to magnetically and visibly draw out dirt and congestion It also helps to control excess sebum production and improve skin elasticity. Other ingredients like natural volcanic absorbs excess oil; black rice powder to gently exfoliate; raspberry fruit extract to hydrate and tone; green tea leaf powder to remove dead skin cells; and cucumber extract to cool and soothe the skin.

The text and consistency is lightweight and easy to apply.  The first time I applied with my fingers and the second time with a mask brush.   I applied all over except my cheeks as products that are a little active can play up my rosacea.  Instead I use a calming mask on the ball of my cheeks.

There is tingling for the first couple of minutes, similar to an itchy feeling but that disappears. I leave the mask on left on for 15 minutes and then rinsed off with the provided wash cloth.

The results are incredible.  Skin feels super supple, soft and smooth with an amazing glow.  My pores were definitely noticeably tighter and blemishes and redness dramatically reduced, with skin looking extremely hydrated.  I honestly can say the only time I achieve results like this is when I have a professional facial.

There have been comparisons made between the Nutrimetics Ultra Care+ and Glamglow and with talk that it outshines glamglow.  Being a huge fan of glamglow, I did not think it would be possible but I found it better than glamglow!  I have never been so excited over a clay face mask before and this one is one of the best I've tried.
Nutrimetics Ultra Care+ Clarifying Clay Treatment retails for $68.00.

Nutrimetics NutriClean "OLC" Original Lotion Concentrate Multi-Purpose Wipes are perfect to wipe down surfaces in the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen.  I wipe down my dresser on a daily basis especially when I'm doing my makeup, and there is always product residue left behind. Nutrimetics multi-purpose wipes are alcohol and soap free, making them gentle and safe to use all surfaces.

They are not super wet, like some wet wipe brands and no need to use a dry cloth afterwards to remove excess moisture.  The surface dries up almost immediately after wiping.  They retail for $10.

So half the year has already disappeared, where I haven't got a clue. Christmas is literally around the corner and before we know it 2018 has arrived. I like to be organised but not so OCD (I used to be before kids, it was a losing battle!). But there is one thing in my life that I am very particular and organised with, is my diary and schedule.

Working full-time, looking after a family and extra curricular activities as well as blogging can get crazy and out of control and I need to have a schedule in place otherwise I would be overwhelmed and forgetful.

Owning a diary (or two) is super important because it is the only way I can see and plan my days, weeks and months ahead without any double booking or forgetting important dates.

So, I was super excited to be invited to preview diaries and journals for 2018 as I love shopping for journals and diaries. Call me old-skool but there is something personal about writing in a journal or diary versus using an iphone.  It's the scribbles, notes, post-its that are memories of how I felt on that day or week.  Electronic diaries don't give that, and also they are not 100% reliable!

Diaries and definitely making a comeback and what better way with an entire new range of modern, stylish diaries to get you started.  Here are my faves for 2018, courtesy of Collins Debden. They cater for everyone including budgets.

The Puzzler diary is a fun way to plan for your week by challenging you with featured puzzles on every week to an opening.

Each month is a different colour, making it easy to flip open to the desired month.  It has a sturdy hardcover.

Puzzles and challenges are designed to stimulate the brain, just like brain training.  There are mazes, crosswords, word and number puzzles, science questions and more.

The Vanessa range comes in several sizes.  A4, A5, A6 and B6 & B7.  This particular one is pretty cool.  Comes with a heavily grained PVC flexible hard covering with double wiro binding inside.

Makes it easy to open flat and stay opened.  Pages are in cream colour with two day to a page as well a six-month opening calendar at the top.

This particular one comes with full-colour capital city maps at the back and internal page pockets.

The Lifestyle range is a new range featuring unique and fully curated to help users find their inner balance.  Featuring number of useful articles, goal setting, recipes, meditation exercises and healthy tips.

These come in a B5 size with a clear PVC snap closure cover with pockets, monthly tabs and full colour graphics inside.

Each month comes with laminated tabs, to protect the edges from bending and tearing.

This is my favourite.  I am currently using this one for blogging.  I cannot tell you how many times already I have dripped coffee on the cover and lucky for the PVC covering!

The Colplan range offers a range of planners in two sizes. A4 and Slimline.  These are lightweight, with the slimline being compact and flexible.

The new 2018 range comes in modern and fashionable colours.

Vauxhall delivers style and substance with both their journals and diaries.  They offer feint lined pages in journals and either day to an opening or week to an opening style diaries.

Journals come in A4 size and diarys come in two sizes A5 and Pocket.  They also come in a range of bright colours and patterns.  Cover is hard and strong and easy to wipe down in accident spills.

What's your favourite style of diary or journal?

I recently attended the RAWW Launch which was held at the gorgeous Acre restaurant at Camperdown Commons. This much anticipated brand was 2.5 years in the making. Total Beauty Network CEO Tony Rechtman was thrilled to unveil his newest brand launch.

Every product in the RAWW Cosmetics range is based on superfood ingredients include coconut water, kale and wildberry harvest, moringa and acai berry.  The entire range is definitely a game-changer in the beauty industry.

Displayed so beautifully around the restaurant was the entire Raww range, to play, try and feel.

The Raww range includes makeup and skincare.

TBN's were also showcasing their other brands Inika and DB Ccosmetics latest collection.  So many exciting products coming this season!

The food served that night also didn't go unnoticed.  Amazing roasts and casseroles were served as well as shots of Tequila and Chamord to celebrate the evening.

Raww is available in all good pharmacies nationally and online at

I recently attended an intimate breakfast for the Dr Hauschka's launch which was held at The Grounds of Alexandria featuring International Makeup Artist and Global Ambassador Karim Sattar.

To coincide and to celebrate their 50th Anniversary, the launch previewed pieces from their new make-up range and looks for Spring Summer 2018.  To read more about the products read my post here.

We were treated to some yummy breakfast and mingled with fellow influencers and Dr Hauschka staff, who were so warm and welcoming.

Karim showcased some of the brand's face and eye palettes, mascaras, a light reflecting concealer (wow) and many other products. He created a Spring/Summer look on a model using two new feature palettes.  The eyeshadow trio and blush duo.

Here he is showing us that eyebrow gel can also double as an eye primer, by mixing in eye shadow on the back of the hand.  It is like a wet look which intensifies the colour.

An upcoming trend is 3D eye lining.  By applying brown liner as a base, then add the black over it with a little bit of brown showing underneath, gives a three dimensional look making eyes pop. Karim also mentioned that grey black or brown are the flattering on most eye shape and age.

Add some soft pink under the brow to make eyes pop and give the appearance of a younger look.

And for a look for this season, it's all about shimmer on lips as glossy is out.  Karim added some eyeshadow to the centre of the lips and Cupid's bow with his finger and then patted a sheer lipstick over it which gives the lips a soft pink healthy natural glow.

As Karim puts it "lips need to look as if your boyfriend kissed you".

Another trend that is up coming is Notouring, the new contouring.  It's highlighting to one side of the forehead, chin on the opposite side and on one cheek.

The finished look on this gorgeous model who was also the loveliest person.

Dr Hauschka makeup is available at David Jones and online at  For up-to-date on all Dr Hauschka products follow them on  Instagram @drhausckaaus.
